Simple Harmonic Motion (SHM)[]
One of the five a cappella groups on campus. They're an all-gender Tenor-Bass group and do a major show in D term of every year. Unlike Sound Logic, Simple Harmonic Motion often does more barbershop-style a cappella.
SHM has released five albums during their more than 25 years at WPI: Singin' 'Til it Hertz (1996), Easy as Pi (1998), Random Noise (2000), Y Naught (2002), and Vital Sines (2009).

- SHM used to be known as Baker's Dozen (which was founded in 1983), but was renamed to Simple Harmonic Motion in 1994.

- This is the lowest out of all of the acapella groups.
- This severe deficiency of dab is caused by the fact that only one member is named the designated dabber for the hit song "Good Ol' Acapella." The most recent dabber is a Choatey boi.
